Penang Trip - The Bus Jounery - Part 1

Back from my Penang trip for almost like 2 week already.. and I know the lack of updates is upsetting both to myself and also some of my close friends who read my blog regularly... have been complaining to me why i never update and so on and so forth....

so below is not a very detailed Penang trip ... actually the trip was organised by my youngest Gu gu (dad's youngest sister) or I think so ... lol coz say that my uncle was being promoted and that he might be posted out of Penang soon ... so lets all go and visit before he goes away.....

In the beganning we are suppose to stay in a hotel with a shopping center just beside it ... and what bathroom overlook the sea... so u can see the sea while bathing... but all the plans change... coz my xiao yee... (mum's youngest sister) and her daughter and son was suppose to join us ... but at the last min... my xiao yee fall sick and we are unable to sell of the extra tickets.. so in the end... 3 of us took 6 seats on the coach from SIN - PENANG.... and also have to stay at my Uncles's place which does not have a life and have to walk 4 stories before reaching his flat... that we save almost RM 600.. which went all to the food we eat...

wahahaha ..... and the most pissing of thing is that the arm rest in the center could not be taken up .. so cannot lie on both seat to sleep.... so we end up carrying all the luggages we had on to the bus ... a total of 4 luggages... 1 each for mum, dad and myself ... another 1 extra is food items... and 1 plastic bag which i keep my pillow and Mr M.... he goes on every trip with me .... (Yes I know I am still childish .. but cannot sleep without him ... everyone in the family knows about it ....YES !! even my grandma... HAHA!!)

Crossing the customs was fast and easy for both Singapore and Malaysia side... not much of a problem .. maybe because it was Thursday night... so not many ppl was travelling that night out of the town ... Finally after the Malaysian customer... there my 11 Hours of jounery begains... as we got on to the bus ... mum say want to sit with me .. scare to seat by herself and also want to share listen to my ipod with me ... so as we got settled down ... taking all the jackets... shawl.. and what have we for the long cold jounery on the bus... and before we can sit down ... the ppl in front of us ... just put their chair down and totally we cannot go in at all ... so mum was like

"EXCUSES ME! we have yet to sit down ..."

The couple turn over and give us a blank look .... and then quickly push up the seats... so mum say why not we put the luggages there and we seat behide it .... so not so uncomfortable.... to me was ok .. so once again we shifted all the luggages to the front seat... and as we settled to get comfortable.... and try to sleep... the funny thing is I totally could not sleep.... I also wonder why.. coz normally I will fall fast asleep in the bus once i get onto it .... and will normally sleep till the next stop point for food or for toliet.... so keep on fiddling with my ipod and change the music.... but still after 30 mins still cannot sleep.... arrrrrrrr this is terrible.... then I turn to my mum side....

"ARRRRRRRRRR " I scream in my heart

My darling mum scare me la... she covered her head with the shawl and in the darkness it looks super scary man .....

Then I think she can feel me staring at her... and turn over to look at me ....

Me :" Mum what you doing ?"
Mum :"Very cold la ... the air con blow until I have headache now"
Mum: " I think I go and sit there" (she points to the seat beside her)
Me : " ok... careful ha.. do not fall down"

So once again she have to shift the stuff from the single seat to the seat beside me .... all those shifting ... and without noticing ... hahah we reach the first stop .... makan time for my parents....

The Food My Darling Mum and Dad Consumed

My mum was like totally no words and ask my dad

Mum : You sot sot issit... why so much food?
Dad : Totally ignoring my mum and just ate his food

All I eat was I think .... a little of the bun skin and a piece of chicken from the "lor mai kai" (a kind of food made up of rice and chicken pieces or pork meat ")... that is all ....

While my parents was finishing the food .. I wanted to go to the bathroom again before boarding the bus...

Mum : I thought you just now go already
Me : I want to go again
Mum : U old women issit ?? Go so many times ..
Me : Cannot issit !!!
Mum : U later do not drink so much water.. If not later want to go pee again
Me : " Roll my eyes" I go just in case mah....

After all these.. when we got back on the bus .. we realise we are the only family who got down the bus to eat and use the bathroom... the rest of the people are either sleeping or just went down to use the washroom.... hahaha ... greedy us ....

So the jounery countined.... but still I cannot fall asleep.... and I only managed to fall asleep after the 2nd stop which was by then 4 am in the morning .... so thoughout the trip .. all i hear is my music and my dad snoring and some other ppl... wahahaha

All of the sudden... I feel a tap on my shoulder and I jolt up from my sleep

Mum : Reach Liao
Me : :Rubbing my eyes.... orrrr... so fast mah

Looking at my watch it was only 6.45am in the morning and we have reach PENANG !!!! The total jounery was only like 8hours plus ... not the 11 hours as per the travel agents.... wahahaha ....

Out of the bus .. I saw my gu gu looking up onto the bus to see if she can see us and I waved to her and she waved back she saw me ... hehe .... so grabbing all our stuff and luggage we try to get off the bus .. but the aunite in front of us .. jsut stand there and switch on her mobil phone and taking her own sweet time ... my dad just stand behide saying nothing .... mum cannot take it anymore so ... she was like

Mum : Auntie excuse me
Aunite : Sorry ha ....

As for me .. I was still in my sleepy state... coz all I had was like 2 hours of sleep or a little more or a little less....
