When Time Comes - Chapter 9

Then came that rainy afternoon… and with all the work load and project down for the month …. Accompany with the rain and a sleepy afternoon…. The memories came back to me … once again …

Bring a heavy heart and wet feet… and a full of his thoughts and question in my mind… I brave though the heavy rain and headed back home…. To the warm and comfortable place that I sorted shelter whenever I feel moody or crappy or just wanted a silent moment to myself.

“Ringggggggggggggggg…… “ my phone went off…. As I was deep in my sleep

“Hello… “ I reply sleepy….

“ Want to come out or not ??” someone over the phone ask me

“ Go where???”

“We go for a drink … and relax after your busy month.”

“Ok… ermmmm who r u ha?”

“Kate la… u dreaming issit?”

“Sorry ha… me sleeping la….”

“Never mind … ok see you at Clarke Quay at 10.30 pm.”

“ Ok see you there then …..”

Lying silently in my bed … looking up on my ceiling … I wonder why did I just agree… coz I just do not feel like going out … but then Kate has been trying to date me for the last 1 month and I have turn her down so many time… guess I better go if she I think she will think I stood her up again …

Dragging my tired body out of bed to the shower… the warm water feels so good on my skin and it seems to freshen me.

Guess tonight will be a good night… just 2 of us hanging out and drinking and chit chatting… that kind of feeling and mood was something that I have not done in a long while…. Now I truly look forward to meeting her and hugging my close buddy… she is what I need most at this moment……
