When Time Comes - Chapter 2

Following her footstep towards the train and braving the rain with my colleague Chermaine…. As I was lost in my own world… All I could heard was Chermaine’s voice ringing in my ear but noting could make sense to me ….

The right ahead I stop short…. There he was standing by the ticket machine .. he seems to be waiting for some one and the look on his face shows that he seems to be worrying about something ….

“Is it about work… Is it about the person he is waiting for” The question was just running though my mind.

I wanted so much to go over and ask him “ How is ur day ? Are you ok? Do u need help?“ but I know all these are just my wishful thinking… just a part of me that wants to share his problem …and bring the Smile back to his face.

“Ouch that hurts” I suddenly heard Chermaine shouting….once again she brought me back to sense…..

“ What happened to you ???”

“ Some Lady just knocked into me with her big ugly bag…. Can’t she say excuse me?…. Why does she not have any manners …………………….. “ Chermaine just went on and on and one about the gal …who has knocked into her .. and how this gal does not have any proper manners and not even a word of sorry to her ………

In my heart… I think the gal must be having an itchy ear or that she has to be sneezing right away non stop… from all the cursing and swearing that Chermaine was leashing out at her……

I just keep nodding my head in response to all of Chermaine’s grumble as my eyes drifted back to where he was standing … he was still in the same position as I last saw him .. and that look was still there….
